Dear Friends and Neighbors,

San Francisco is the most wonderful, vibrant place on earth.  I have made my home here in the City by the Bay for more than 25 years.  I feel very fortunate and proud to be a San Franciscan and am committed to giving back to the City I love.

Located in the Northeast waterfront of the City is District 3, an area consisting of the most interesting and diverse neighborhoods in the city: the Barbary Coast, the Broadway Corridor, Chinatown, the Financial District, Fisherman’s Wharf, Jackson Square, Nob Hill, North Beach, Polk Street, Russian Hill, Telegraph Hill and Union Square.

There is something special about each of these neighborhoods with their unique histories and diverse cultures.  Each deserves to be protected and nourished in a vibrant City such as ours.

And that is why I am passionate about serving you as your Supervisor in District 3: to protect and nourish each and every one of these unique neighborhoods and to make sure that our neighborhoods will be a better place for all of us to live.

In my view, the best way to ensure a bright future for District 3 is to attend to the basics that affect the quality of our daily lives.  My priorities will include preserving the character of our neighborhoods, safer, cleaner and better maintained streets, an efficient and safe public transit system, well maintained parks and open space, as well as policies that promote and encourage small, neighborhood-serving businesses.

I am committed to putting our neighborhoods first and to being your common sense voice in our city government.  With open ears and an open mind, I will always be accessible to address your concerns and I humbly ask for your support and your vote.  I look forward to meeting you and hearing your ideas.
