Throughout this campaign, I have talked about my record of getting things done and my commitment to bring common sense, collegiality and harmony to our City government. To inspire a conversation on these principles, I have launched a series of Harmony Events in September to incorporate music, art and poetry in the discussion.
”Is the Room for Music & Harmony in Politics?”
This video captured my Fall Campaign kick off event at Enrico’s on Broadway. I was joined by many supporters and friends who believe in the notion that there is room for harmony in politics. The evening was filled with friends playing music and towards the end, everyone received a copy of my first CD, “Harmonious & Melodious, Claudine Cheng and Friends.” This CD is a compilation of classical and jazz music performed by friends from all walks of life and all ages; none of us are professional musicians but we cherish the role of music in enriching our lives.
